(Reuters) - American Matt Kuchar held a one-shot lead at 10
under par after 15 holes when the weather-hit second round was
suspended for the day at the Crowne Plaza Invitational in Fort
Worth, Texas on Friday. Kuchar, who clinched his fifth PGA Tour
title at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in February,
will line up a 40-foot birdie putt at the par-three 16th when play
resumes at 8:15 a.m. EDT on Saturday. ...

Molinari flourished while five of his European Ryder Cup team mates
fell flat on their faces as the Italian grabbed the lead after the

Lawrie all missed the halfway cut after struggling in cold, dank

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama has accepted an invitation
to be honorary chairman of this year's Presidents Cup, the second
time he will fulfil the role at the biennial team competition, the
PGA Tour said on Friday. Obama, an avid basketball player who often
escapes the pressures of the Oval Office by taking to the golf
course, served as honorary chairman when the event was last played
in the United States, at San Francisco's Harding Park in 2009.

Colsaerts has experienced something of a comedown since helping
Europe win the Ryder Cup in September and the big-hitting Belgian
is looking for his game to ignite some time soon. The 30-year-old,
dubbed 'The Dude' by his team mates after making a stylish debut in
the biennial event last year, looked typically cool and dapper
after moving into contention with a second-round 70 at the PGA

LONDON (Reuters) - Golfer Sergio Garcia is a "really good guy",
the head of his sponsor Adidas said on Friday, indicating the
sportswear company would not drop the Spaniard over a jibe directed
at Tiger Woods. Garcia was forced to defend himself against
accusations of racism after he said he planned to invite rival
Woods to dinner and serve him "fried chicken". Fried chicken has
become a racial stereotype in the United States when referring to
African-Americans - a reference to the days before the abolition of
slavery when chicken was believed to be a staple part of the diet.
